Everybody gets angry sometimes but there is a right way and a wrong way to respond to it.
Talking Points:
- Three tips to control your anger:
- Tip #1: Just take a breath and calm down so you don’t overreact.
- Tip #2: Walk away and think about things that make you happy so your anger goes away.
- Tip #3: Ask for help. Talk to your teacher or your parents to help you think through why you’re angry and what you should do about it.
- Tip #4: Be ready to forgive. Everyone makes mistakes so be ready to forgive just like you want people to forgive you when you mess up.
