At work. At home. In the community. How high is your ability to consider other people above yourself?
Talking Points:
- Your “other number” is your ability to consider someone else above yourself. How it works is the higher your number, the less selfish you are. This number can range anywhere between one and five.
- Your number can be different for various areas of your life. The number your team would give you isn’t necessarily the same number you’d get from your spouse or boss. Maybe you’re more selfish in your relationship with your spouse than your relationship with your boss
- Another important number to look at is the one you’d get from your community. This is determined by how much you are willing to give to your community.
- Take some time to evaluate yourself. Ask your spouse, kids, boss, or coach what number they would give you. If you find you have low number take steps to increase those number. If you have high numbers, make a game plan to keep those numbers high.

- Ask your spouse, kids, boss, or coach what number they would give you. If it’s a low number how can you raise it? If it’s a high number what can you do to maintain it?
