Parents, your students have a lot of emotions but they may not be sure of what to do with them.
Talking Points:
- Students need to process every emotion- fear, love, hatred and annoyance. Parents can be helpful because they have more experience in dealing with them.
- The temptation is to stuff emotions and try to ignore them but eventually you explode because it gets to be too much.
- Students need to learn how to analyze and understand what they’re feeling and why so they know how to respond to them in a healthy way.
