Being angry takes too much energy. Choose to forgive and be happier.
Talking Points:
- Being angry takes a lot of energy. Your muscles actually have to work harder to frown than to smile!
- Holding a grudge against someone really only hurts you. You’re wasting a lot of energy stewing on the inside while the other person has no idea that you’re mad.
- It’s way more impressive to choose to forgive someone than it is to hold a grudge. And, forgiving doesn’t mean you’re a doormat. You can draw boundaries but still be nice.
